The Aroma of an Angel
Hebrews 13:2 New Living Translation (NLT)
2 Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it!
–I often reflect back to times when I didn’t know how things were going to work out for my family financially. The only thing I knew to do was to trust God and He was always right on time. The amazing thing is that many times He used complete strangers to perform the miraculous in my life. Without a doubt I knew that I encountered Angels that were on assignment from God. He is no respector of person and He can use whomever He chooses to bless us. My prayer is that you’ll ask God for discernment so that when you’re face to face with one of His Angels you’ll receive everything that He desires for you to receive or experience.
The Aroma of Hidden Treasures
Isaiah 45:3 New International Version (NIV)
3 I will give you hidden treasures,
riches stored in secret places,
so that you may know that I am the Lord,
the God of Israel, who summons you by name.
~Sometimes it’s during your toughest hours that your hidden treasures are discovered. I encourage you to trust God during these times and ask for HIs strength to endure the hour in which you are in. My prayer is that God will give you clarity concerning the area of your treasures.
“The Aroma Of Being Unique”
Psalm 139:13-14 New Living Translation (NLT)
13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
~God has fearfully and wonderfully made each and every one of us. Don’t allow your uniqueness to stop you from moving forward into God’s original purpose for your life. Have you ever stopped to imagine what this world would be like if we all were the same? My prayer today is that you will be “THE ORIGINAL” that God has created you to be. I encourage you to let your light shine bright today!
The Aroma of Loving Selflessly
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 The Message (MSG)
3-7 If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.
Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.
Love doesn’t strut,
Doesn’t have a swelled head,
Doesn’t force itself on others,
Isn’t always “me first,”
Doesn’t fly off the handle,
Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
Doesn’t revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
Puts up with anything,
Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.
~My prayer is that you’ll begin to love like Christ!
The Aroma of Direction
Psalm 32:8 New Living Translation (NLT)
The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.
I will advise you and watch over you.
Isaiah 30:21 New Living Translation (NLT)
Your own ears will hear him.
Right behind you a voice will say,
“This is the way you should go,”
whether to the right or to the left.
~ God promises to guide us along the best pathway for our life. If you feel like you’ve taken a wrong turn or gotten off the right path, I want you to know that you can seek God for direction and He’ll guide you. My prayer is that you’ll seek God for his direction and move in the direction that He instructs.
The Aroma of Small Beginnings
Zechariah 4:10 The Message (MSG)
8-10 After that, the Word of God came to me: “Zerubbabel started rebuilding this Temple and he will complete it. That will be your confirmation that God-of-the-Angel-Armies sent me to you. Does anyone dare despise this day of small beginnings? They’ll change their tune when they see Zerubbabel setting the last stone in place!”
~ In our eyes it may sometimes seem like what we have is inadequate or just simply not enough. Please don’t get overwhelmed with being committed to the vision that God has placed on the inside of you because things may not have taken off like you expected. My prayer is that you’ll begin to start believing that things are truly coming together. I encourage you to be grateful for the small beginnings because small beginnings often turn into big endings!
The Aroma of Knowing that ALL is Well
John 14:27 The Message (MSG)
25-27 “I’m telling you these things while I’m still living with you. The Friend, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send at my request, will make everything plain to you. He will remind you of all the things I have told you. I’m leaving you well and whole. That’s my parting gift to you. Peace. I don’t leave you the way you’re used to being left—feeling abandoned, bereft. So don’t be upset. Don’t be distraught.
~It’s wonderful to know that God sent His only son to die for us. It’s also incredible to know that Jesus requested that the Holy Spirit be sent to us to make everything plain to us. He want’s us to be well and completely whole. My prayer is that you give those things that have weighed heavy on your heart to God with the assurance of knowing that “ALL” is well.
The Aroma of Uncommon Favor
Genesis 39:3-4 King James Version (KJV)
3 And his master saw that the Lord was with him, and that the Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand.
4 And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.
1 Corinthians 2:9 King James Version (KJV)
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
~ My prayer is that God will flood your life with an extraordinary blessing on today. God is no respecter of persons. He’s the only one that can cause favor to enter our lives that’s never been seen or heard of before. Trust God for “Uncommon Favor” on today!
The Aroma of Being Beautified by God
Psalm 139:14-16 The Message (MSG)13-16
Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out;
you formed me in my mother’s womb.
I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking!
Body and soul, I am marvelously made!
I worship in adoration—what a creation!
You know me inside and out,
you know every bone in my body;
You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,
how I was sculpted from nothing into something.
Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth;
all the stages of my life were spread out before you,
The days of my life all prepared
before I’d even lived one day.
~God loves us so much that he made us beautiful on purpose. This was his plan even before we were formed in our mother’s womb. I thank God for taking the time to uniquely design each and every one of us into His image. My prayer is that you’ll began to look at yourself and see the person that God has created you to be. You are beautiful and special because God says you are!
The Aroma of Clean Hands and a Pure Heart
1 Timothy 1:5 New Living Translation (NLT)
5 The purpose of my instruction is that all believers would be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine faith.
~As we look back over our lives it includes things that aren’t so pleasing in God’s eyes. My prayer is that you’ll be honest with God about the place that you’re in and invite Him into you life. If you ask Him to create within you a clean heart and renew a righteous spirit within you, He won’t hesitate to move on your behalf.
