The Aroma of Declaring Victory

Psalm 20:1-4 New International Version (NIV)
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
2 May he send you help from the sanctuary
and grant you support from Zion.
3 May he remember all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.
4 May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.

~Be encouraged as you present to God the desires of your heart. My prayer is that you’ll move forward walking in the victory that the Lord has already given you.

The Aroma of Resting In God’s Love

Exodus 33:14 New International Version (NIV)
14 The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

1 John 4:16 New International Version (NIV)
16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.

~Be encouraged to rest in God’s love on today. My prayer is that you’ll find peace, love, happiness and joy as you rest in God’s love..

The Aroma of the Vine and the Branches

John 15:1-11 New International Version (NIV)
The Vine and the Branches
15 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

My prayer is that you’ll remain connected to our Lord, the true vine of life. The Lord cuts back everything in our lives that bears no fruit. He also shapes and molds us in the areas of our lives where we are fruitful so that we may be able to produce even more fruit. I encourage you to stay connected to God our vine, our true source of life!

The Aroma of the Race

Ecclesiastes 9:11 New Living Translation (NLT)
11 I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time.

~ At times you may feel like you can’t take another step and you may even feel sometimes that you’ve cried all the tears that you can cry. I encourage you to open up your mouth and if all you can do is let out a whisper then use that whisper to ask God for help to finish strong. It doesn’t matter if you’ve had to stop during your race a thousand times to catch your breath or refuel. My prayer is that you’ll finish strong and that you’ll be in the right place at the right time for the blessing that God has for you. I encourage you to stay in the race and finish strong!

The Aroma of God’s Amazing Grace

2 Corinthians 12:9 New Living Translation (NLT)
9 Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

1 Peter 4:10 New International Version (NIV)
10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

Just as God has extended grace to each of us, my prayer is that you’ll extend grace to someone else on today. God reminds us that in times of weakness we are then made strong in Him. It’s in this place of vulnerability that the power of Christ can work through us. God’s grace is Amazing!

The Aroma of Our Present Help

Psalm 46:1 New Living Translation (NLT)
1 God is our refuge and strength,
always ready to help in times of trouble.

Proverbs 14:26 New Living Translation (NLT)
26 Those who fear the Lord are secure;
he will be a refuge for their children.

~ As God’s offspring we can look to Him in times of trouble. We can always trust, lean, and depend on God. My prayer is that you will look to Him because is our refuge and our strength!

The Aroma of God’s Timing

Habakkuk 2:3 New Living Translation (NLT)
3 This vision is for a future time.
It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled.
If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently,
for it will surely take place.
It will not be delayed.

~ I encourage you on today to keep having faith in God for the vision that you’ve put before Him. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been waiting for days, weeks, months, or even years. The amazing thing to know is that your vision is going to undoubtedly come to pass. (Ecclesiastes 3:1) says “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” I encourage you to wait patiently on God. My prayer is that you’ll continue you to trust God’s leading and His timing. God’s timing is Perfect!

The Aroma of Provision and Encouragement

Psalm 20:1-2 New International Version (NIV)
Psalm 20[a]For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
2 May he send you help from the sanctuary
and grant you support from Zion.

2 Corinthians 9:8 New International Version (NIV)
8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

~ As (2 Corinthians 9:8) is confirmation that the Lord is more than able to provide everything that we need. I pray that the Lord will bless you in the areas of urgency. I also pray that you won’t allow your area of necessity to distract you but instead you’ll give those desires and needs to God and trust that He’s going to provide more than enough for you. Be encouraged on today!

The Aroma of the Price Jesus Paid

Galatians 3:13-15 New Living Translation (NLT)
13 But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”[a] 14 Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised[b] Holy Spirit through faith.
The Law and God’s Promise
15 Dear brothers and sisters,[c] here’s an example from everyday life. Just as no one can set aside or amend an irrevocable agreement, so it is in this case.

~God sent his only begotten son to the cross to die for our sins. We were rescued from the curse that was pronounced by the law. The ultimate sacrifice was paid by Jesus. He exchanged his life for the sin of the world. John 3:16 says that for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. My prayer is that if you don’t know Jesus as your Lord and personal savior and you want to be saved, you can be saved by confessing (Romans10:9-10) and this will afford you the opportunity to be saved. God is waiting on you with open arms. If you are already saved and feel like you’ve messed up, just know that God is waiting on you with open arms as well. He loves us all the same. He paid the ultimate price for us all!

The Aroma Of God’s Chain Breaking Power

Acts 16:26 New International Version (NIV)26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.

~Paul and Silas were thrown into prison for doing what they knew was right. They were also severely beaten. Around midnight Paul and Silas were singing hymns to God. There was a sudden earthquake that shook the foundations of the prison and the doors of the prison were opened setting them free (Acts 16:16-40). My prayer is that you will remain faithful in God. Everything that was planned by the enemy to hold you back, stop, or block you is suddenly being destroyed by God. I encourage you to trust God’s Chain Breaking Power because no weapon formed against you shall prosper!
